Diamond Jaxx are No More

The Cubs have announced the end of a relationship with the West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx, and have come to a new agreement with the Tennessee Smokies. The Tennessee Smokies play in Sevierville, Tennessee, close to Pigeon Forge, a local tourist attraction. Ultimately, this means absolutely nothing, as the Smokies play in the Southern League.

Over at Baseball America, as we reported a few days ago, the Top 20 prospects lists for each league are being released, and they have also released a schedule for each of the prospect lists. Here are the relavent dates for the Cubs organization:

• Arizona League -- DONE
• Northwest League -- September 27th
• Midwest League -- September 28th
• Florida State League -- October 2nd
• Southern League -- October 6th
• Pacific Coast League -- October 11th
