This post won't discuss the Cubs minor league system yesterday, with the exception that Felix Pie once again added a 2 hit night yesterday. More than anything this is just a heads up to watch the Futures Game at 4 ET on ESPN2 where Eric Patterson will perform. Jae Kuk Ryu is on the World Roster but will not play due to an injured groin, I believe.
On that note, look for a feature this week if I have time on a comparison of Eric Patterson to his brother, Corey. Specifically, I'd like to discuss the effects of Eric going to college, while Corey was drafted out of high school.
