Bobby Brownlie went 4 shutout innings to start the game, although not earning a decision. Brownlie has fallen far off the charts, and it is very possible he will not be given a chance by the Cubs next season.

Daytona 4 Brevard County 1 - Jeremy Williams, who was promoted from the AZL Cubs, hit a HR, going 1-4 at the plate. Chris Robinson went 3-4 with 2 RBIs, with his 24th double of the season, and he now sports a 916 OPS since being acquired by the Cubs. Mercedes has an OPS of 730 in 127 at-bats at Boise, a very impressive feat for the 19 year old catcher.
