Futures Game Rosters Announced
Major League Baseball has released the rosters for the Futures Game. Eric Patterson (AA) will represent the Cubs on the US team, while Jae Kuk Ryu (AAA) will represent the Cubs for the World Team. This game seems to have lost some luster that it had early on, but this is a good opportunity for Ryu and Patterson to face some good competition, and ultimately either improve their play or their trade value.

i'd rather have ryu at this game than on the major league team. i dont think he can cut it in the majors.

Well, keep in mind in the game he pitched against the Braves he was reportedly tipping his pitches.
Like you, there are probably 10 or 15 other players in the Cubs organization I'd rather see than Ryu in this game, but oh well.
