Minor League Report for 6/19

Albuquerque 3 Iowa 0 - In early day game, the I-Cubs would have been better off staying in bed as they were shutout by former Cub minor leaguer, Renyel Pinto. Jae Kuk Ryu (2-6) took the loss giving up 2 ER on 9 hits in 6.1 innings. Micah Hoffpauir went 2-3 with the Cubs only extra base hit, a double, while Buck Coats had 2 hits as well going 2-4 with his 9th stolen base of the year. Felix Pie went 1-4 and is hitting .253 on the season.

Daytona 4 Palm Beach 3 - The D-Cubs scored one in the top of the 10th and Matt Weber pitched a scoreless 10th to earn his 1st save of the year. Carlos Perez started the game for Daytona and pitched 5 shutout innings, but the bullpen couldn't hang on to allow him to earn his 1st win of the year. Ryan Harvey went 1-5 with a triple and a RBI, while Jemel Spearman and Nate Spears both went 3-4 with an RBI.

Eugene 11 Boise 7 - Mark Pawalek (0-1) started and took the loss, going 4 innings giving up 2 ER, 4 hits, 3 walks, and striking out 3. Russell Canzler went 3-3 with 2 walks a double and a HR, while recent draftees, Josh Lansford went 1-5 with 2 RBIs and Steven Clevenger went 1-5.
