Minor League Report for 6/12

New Orleans 15 Iowa 6 - Felix Pie went 1-4 with a walk in a game that saw Iowa starter, Les Walrond give up 13 runs. Walrond's ERA jumped from the 2s to 3.67 after the game where he pitched 3.2 innings. Both Micah Hoffpauir and Mike Fontenot homered for the I-Cubs. It was Hoffpauir's 15th HR of the year, 5th for the Iowa Cubs, while the other 10 came playing for AA West Tennessee.

Peoria 1 Clinton 0 - Todd Blackford (6-2) pitched 6.2 shutout innings while Matt Avery pitched 1 inning to claim his first save of the year, dropping Avery's ERA to 1.23. Robinson Chirinos went 2-3 leading off for Peoria with a double and a walk while Mark Reed went 1-4 driving in the games only run.
